WHAT IS A
CROWN? A crown
covers an entire tooth structure. Its purpose is to provide support to
a tooth that has been compromised by endodontic treatment (root canal),
very large fillings, or teeth that have been broken.
Crowns are also
used to attach a bridge or to cover an implant.
